This King Sporty video from the 80s features lots of really good dancers shaking it all over Miami. Particularly love the scene on the beach about 3min in.

DO YOU WANNA DANCE?
Few things are more fascinating than watching normal people dance. I have a whole section dedicated to this pastime.
THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND

Reggae-lite version of the theme song as featured on the spin-off show The Golden Palace.
TURNIN' TURBO DASHBOARD

M.A.S.K. CRUSADERS WORKING OVERTIME FIGHTING CRIME

Turns out the M.A.S.K. song was written by two guys, Shuki Levy and Haim Saban, who wrote ALL of the best cartoon theme tunes of the 1980s, including Inspector Gadget, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Dinosaucers, Dragon Quest, He-Man and She-Ra.
* For those who haven't seen it, M.A.S.K. was an anime-style show which shamelessly ripped-off both G.I. Joe and Transformers. It pitted a special taskforce of good guys known as M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) against the unambiguously-named bad guys known as V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem).

DOGS WITH SHADES....

...always look great, in fact anything with shades does, if you're drawing something and it doesn't look that good, my advice is to draw some shades on it, doesn't matter what it is, try it (but it has to be Wayfarers). Anyway, I remember seeing a poster for Summer School a few years ago and because the dog on it wears shades I was always intrigued by this film, but at the same time I always felt the people who made this film had a similar theory to me, that if you put some shades on something it'll make it look better, and that's why I've never bothered watching it, but now someone on YouTube has put the film up so I'm gonna watch it right now to see if my theory is correct. The person who has put it up has also uploaded loads of better 80's teenage comedy films including Valley Girl, Foxes, Better Off Dead, The Sure Thing and Secret Admirer. ENJOY!
MATTHEW

Back in the 80's when I was a little kid, I often visited my Mum's friend's house and stayed overnight in her bodybuilder son's bedroom, he was probably the coolest person Ive ever met, he only ever watched action and horror films, I remember watching Predator, Ghoulies and Over The Top with him, and he also ate whole chickens for breakfast everyday, but the coolest thing I remembered about him were the 4 posters he had on his wall, Beverley Hills Cop, Robert Crumb's Stoned Agin, a Ferrari and Death Warmed Up. The Death Warmed Up poster used to give me nightmares, maybe that's why I still havent seen it, but I want to, so if anyone has it and wants to lend it to me that would be great.

I'VE SEEN THINGS...
I watched Blade Runner (Final Cut) for probably the hundredth time a few weeks ago, but for the first time in a cinema and it blew my mind, you've got to watch it in a cinema to really appreciate its full awesomeness, I think it might be my favourite film now, watching this makes me wanna listen to Vangelis' Love Theme all night long, but with a real saxaphone player playing while sitting on my window ledge, while the wind blows the satin curtains.

GUNS + BOOBIES = ANDY SIDARIS
If you like your action films with big guns and bigger boobies then you gotta watch an ANDY SIDARIS film, theyre incredible. Andy Sidaris sadly passed away last year but his films are still here and rockin', my favourite film of his is Hard Ticket To Hawaii. The two videos above, both from Hard Ticket To Hawaii give you an idea of what to expect from an Andy Sidaris film, the bad guy in the second video is called Shades, I think if I ever get a kid I'll call it Shades.
AL LEONG

What do Die Hard, They Live, Leahal Weapon, Big Trouble in Little China, Black Rain, Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure, The Golden Child and Action Jackson all have in common? They're all great films because of one man, and that man is AL LEONG. Although you may not recognise the name you would all recognise his face straight away, he is one of the greatest actors of our generation but is always being typecast as the token yellow bad guy with an uzzie, and being half yellow myself, that makes me proud, what a guy! Did you know that Al Leong is in 74% of all action films from the 1980's .
JUDAS PREIST IS NUMBER ONE
You can never have enough of a good thing, and you can never tire of watching HEAVY METAL PARKING LOT over and over again, and now some nice person has put the whole video up. So sit back, have a brewski and watch this awesome short film about what goes on in the parking lot before a Judas Priest gig in 1986, how come whenever I go to a gig their arent this many cool people. PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST!

SHAKE IT UP
If I ever made a film I think the song I would use for the opening scene would be Shake It Up by THE CARS. In the scene, some kid would probably be late for school, and he'd be in a rush getting his clothes on, his bedroom would have posters on the wall like Cheap Trick, Robert Crumb's Stoned Agin, a lady in a bikini wearing shades drinking a Bud and a Union Jack and the light would be coming in through the blinds, you would see him slide down the stairs and run past his mum and dad so fast they didn't know what happened, then you'd see him running to school knocking things over like trash cans and his shoe laces still wouldn't be tied up, stuff like that, then he's get to school and be running down the hall and sneak into his chair in his classroom without his teacher noticing, it would be awesome. It would probably have to be set somewhere sunny in the US in the late 70s or early 80's as well, and the main character would have a best friend who wears crazy things at school like those headphones with built in radios, and some shades, and a trench coat, and he always tries to chat up hot chicks and they always slap him in the face. Why does RIC OCASEK look like such a freak?
