ALL TOMORROW'S PARTIES

This new film about All Tomorrow's Parties - an indie music festival held in an old-fashioned British holiday camp - looks like it might do justice to the event's pure awesomeness.

I'm not big on the outdoorsy music festivals. ATP is much more my speed. The two times I've been were both totally amazing. My first ATP was the one curated by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in 2006, which also featuring TV On The Radio, Liars and Espers. My second ATP was pure fun and frolicks fueled by the 654 crew (you know who you are) to the sounds of the Black Lips, Black Mountain, Black Angels, Les Savy Fav, and Hot Chip. Good memories.

TOKYO TOM'S AMPLE BUXOM

Gutted that while I was out in Japan I didn't get a chance to do a gentle jog in the park with this fella.

MAX & NANA GET MARRIED

So I was in Japan as Best Man at my little brother Max's wedding. Friends and family from all over the world congregated in Osaka for a really special weekend of wedding celebrations. I cut together a couple of videos from the trip that you can watch here.

The day after the wedding we had a Kobe beef BBQ on Kobe beach. The combination of delicious food, sunny weather, tranquil setting, and good friends made it one of the most perfect days I've ever had.

MOVING WINDMILLS: THE WILLIAM KAMKWAMBA STORY

From the Upper Playground blog.

WHEN YOU ARE ENGULFED IN FLAMES

I've been in Japan for the past few weeks and have fallen in love with the Japanese way of doing things: their clean design, their muted colour palette, their delicious octopus balls, their dignified way of behaving with each other... even the In-flight Safety Video on Japan Airlines is the most entertaining one I've ever seen - particularly when the passengers gleefully flee the plane at around the 4 minute mark.
