FAKE FERRIS FAILS
One minute into the pilot for the Ferris Bueller TV series, the person pretending to be Ferris takes a cardboard cut-out of Matthew Broderick and chainsaws his head off. It's a truly horrifying moment, made worse when you discover that Jeanie Bueller, Ferris's obnoxious sister, is played by Jennifer Aniston.
Somehow the pilot was picked up and was aired in 1990. Thankfully, order was quickly restored to the universe when the show was cancelled in its first season.
