LUCIFER RISING is a pretty awesome short film, but what really makes it is the soundtrack, a beautiful, eerie score by Manson Family member Bobby Beausoleil who was asked by Kenneth Anger to make the score while in prison for the murder of Gary Hinman after Anger had fallen out with Jimmy Page who had originally been asked to make the score for the film, which he did completely under the influence of LSD.

SCORPIO RISING by Kenneth Anger reminds me of my friend Pete who I do this blog with, in this film you see a biker take ages to get changed, putting his pin badges on and doing his hair while listening to some Rock'N'Roll songs, were as Pete spends ages putting his clothes on, choosing which pin badge to wear and doing his hair while listening to stuff like THIS. I once waited 40 minutes outside his house waiting for him to do his hair and we were only going to Sainsburys.

KENNETH ANGER'S brillant short film, LUCIFER RISING. Starring Marianne Faithful, and Donald Cammell (director of PERFORMANCE), one of the great things of this is the music which was originally composed by Jimmy Page, but he fell out with Kenneth Anger, so he got Manson Family member, BOBBY BEAUSOLEIL to do it, while he was still in jail for the murder of Gary Hinman.
