Congo (Belge)
Was hipped to Congo (Belge) while perusing a bookshop with my buddy Rob Doubal recently. Filled with digitally-enhanced prints from the Belgium Congo from around the turn of the century, this is some truly next level Heart of Darkness shit - photographic evidence of the stark horror Belgium inflicted on its colonies. The most powerful images in the book are not available online, but seriously, if you can get your hands on this, I urge you to spend some time with it.
