FAMILY GUY IS SHIT, OLD SIMPSONS IS GREAT
I just caught the end of an episode of Family Guy and in it they spoofed the opening scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. As usual it was aweful, their were no real ideas, the jokes were rubbish, they basically just completely reenacted the scene but made it SHIT, I don't understand why people like Family Guy, it's SHIT! Anyway, I was trying to find that scene and a scene from The Simpsons where they too spoof the same Raiders of the Lost Ark scene, too show the difference in quality but I couldn't find the Family Guy one. What I was trying to show is that (old) Simpsons is brilliant, the stories are structured, its filled with interesting characters and it's actually well written. Where as Family Guy is SHIT, just watch the South Park episode, Cartoon Wars and you'll understand.

I am so glad I have found like-minded people, I have hated Family Guy since I first saw it, it just didn't make me laugh AT ALL. So obviously cue my friends all telling me I didn't have a sense of humour, as they all love it. Actually it's because I'm a damn sight more intelligent than they are, and I appreciate a good story/joke, not just random pieces of music or scenes which are seemingly put in without any real thought - it seems like the creators want to be all 'wacky' and random, and in doing this they can escape writing some real, clever comedy, which figures, because they obviously can't do it anyway. Family Guy is SHIT, I am with you! Going to watch the cartoon wars episode now, South Park is awesome. It and Simpsons are a million times better than FG.

family guy is just one long power-piss of cynical shit , that appeals to 13/25 year olds . south park is now the only remaining cartoon show worth watching. i seem to have the same view's about family guy as George Bush Sr had about the Simpsons, when saying that "American people should be less like the Simpsons and more like the Waltons", that view is now reversed, people should be more like the Simpsons and less like Family Guy.
