VAN DER SAR'S ARGENTINE NICKNAME

TV is great in Buenos Aires since they have all the best soccer of the planet. On one channel Caracas plays, on another you can follow the Calcio, or Palmeiras playing Fluminense (Brasil), or Manchester United playing Newcastle. They are so curious about all forms of soccer. Besides, the speakers are really fun. For example when a player scores they improvise a little song with his name. So, during a Manchester United game, we had:"Berbatov, Berbatov, Berbatov" using La Marseillaise melodic line. Totally inappropriate but fun. Also, during the game they referred to Edwin Van der Sar as "Pinocchio". It was like:"O Shea, Ferdinand, PI-NO-CCHIO!!". Sounded like bitterness from the World Cup 1998...
