I think the shrimp at the bottom is doing some weight lifting, probably preparing for a fight.
Have you ever thought to yourself, I wonder who would win in a fight between a Scorpion and a Praying Mantis, a Japanese Hornet and a Stag Beetle or maybe even a Giant Centipede and a Tarantula? Well some dudes in Japan must have thought the same thing because they've filmed aload of fights with cool insects, with over the top Japanese style graphics. Enjoy!

WELCOME BACK LOST IN TYME

One of the best blogs to find out about (not steal) obscure Kraut, Psych, Prog, Funk and Punk is back up after being pulled down because an idiot named Mr. Shawn Gordon complained to the DMCA that we should not be allowed to discover music that in the main is either not available to buy anymore or is incredibly hard to find. He feels that the musicians and bands whos music is available on blogs such as Lost In Tyme should not have their music made available for free as it devalues the actual music, and also means the musicans are not earning the money they deserve. Fair enough, but Mr. Shawn Gordan and the bands he's worried about should be grateful to Lost In Tyme for making people like me aware of their existance to begin with, also Lost In Tyme always provides links to where the music can be bought where possible. Maybe if the lazy record labels actually bothered to make all this great music available to begin with we probably wouldn't have this problem.

I just found this Will Sweeney/Susumu Mukai Mix on the Alain Finkielkrautrock Blog, download it HERE.

Will Sweeney and Susumu Mukai are probably better know as Zongamin, but they are also 2 of the most talented illustrators around at the moment and also have their own awesome clothes label, ALAKAZAM. They just had an exhibition at the Undercover Store in Tokyo called Mutatis Mutandis (above). Every now and then you come across art work that really makes you think what you do is a pile of crap, I think that happens everytime I see work buy these guys, they're too talented.
