I just got this in the post today, it's a Ghanaian Movie Poster, you can buy them on ebay or on their website HERE. I wasn't sure what Yor was, so I had a look on IMDb, its an Italian film from the 80's, this is how they described it

"Yor, an extremely blond prehistoric warrior, comes to question his origins, particularly with regard to a mysterious medallion he wears. When he learns of a desert goddess who supposedly wears the same medallion, Yor decides that he must find her and learn his true identity. Along the way, he encounters ape-men, dinosaurs, and a strange futuristic society"

Here is a clip of obsure group Invisible Sex performing the song 'Valium', supposedly no one actually knows the identity of any of the band, the lead singer sounds kinda French to me, a bit like Marie Et Les Garcons combined with The Stranglers, anyone know? It's taken from the 1982 film 'Urgh! A Music War' which filmed performances from bands including Devo, The Go-Go's, Dead Kennedys, Au Pair, Pere Ubu, XTC, Surf Punks, Gang Of Four, Magazine and X. I need to buy this.

ALEJANDRO JODOROWSKY

Someone has uploaded both El Topo and The Holy Mountain onto Veoh, you have to download the film and get a Veoh player to watch them which is a bit of a pain but definitely worth it. If you don't know, El Topo and The Holy Mountain are 2 films by cult Chilean director, Alejandro Jodorowsky and must been seen, seriously these 2 films are incredible. I think El Topo was John Lennon's favourite film, and he and Yoko funded The Holy Mountain. Anyway, you can read more about El Topo HERE and The Holy Mountain HERE. This little fellow is 14 inches tall and was found sitting cross-legged in a small cave inside a granite mountain.
